@HERTS P&D So I can't fit lever on top?

Hi all, My mum is almost 95 and is finding it hard to press flush button on top of cistern. Can i fit a lever operated flush valve to make it easier for her if so which is the easiest you have come across? TIA Colin

Well update didn't work although i wasn't expecting it to. I think main board has gone and managed to order one from ebay with a 3 month warranty so just waiting for delivery which could be a few days. Doesn't seem anything suspicious on the board not sure if they can be repaired.

Yes first thing i done plus i got a smaller tv that is plugged in now with no issues. Will try a firmware update tomorrow and if that doesn't work will pull the back off and go from there.

TV is 2016 and have contacted Sony support awaiting an answer.

Hi All I have a Sony Bravia 49' tv. A few weeks ago had a power surge which damaged my phone and router which were replaced. Some days later my HDMI port for my Sky box went to no signal so i changed to another port and all was good for a while until that to went to no signal. Now all 4 ports...

Openreach came this morning and Master socket was the problem new socket fitted and all working again. :giggle:

So therefore there is a problem externally (y)

That's what i thought and goes higher when ringing but this being the old GPO setup i'm not sure if it's the same.

Hi All My mum has a phone line that was installed late 70s early 80s so does not have a test point on the Master socket. Her phone has stopped working no dialling tone. I put a meter across 2 and 5 on socket and getting 22v is this correct? Trying to figure out if this is a internal or external...
