Have a 60s bungalow with heavy concrete tile roof and was in the eaves yesterday when I noticed some movement of the layer of bricks the roof base plate goes on to. Bit concerned about it.
Would strapping the plate to the joists be a solution...

Hi all. We have a south facing house which currently has a UPVC and double glazed conservatory with a glass roof. It is virtually unusable in summer and freezing in winter. It is a reasonably large structure at over 5mx3.5m
We wondered whether there is any way of removing it and replacing it...
Thank you for replying - I should have thought of that but wanted to minimise disruption as the beading is off on the inside only so thought I could remove the glass from inside. I will give that a go. Thanks.

We have a composite door that was fitted with the wrong glass - the door was faulty too so the installer just left it here as it was (see pictures)
We can live with the fault - frame out of square but now have the correct glass to go in the door. I'm unsure how to take out the old...
