Hi, I have a Beko Frost Free Combi Fridge & Freezer. Model CDA 543 F I only bought this less than 2 years ago, the problem I have recently is that the freezer is only -5C. It used to be -18C when I first bought it. The noise it make is louder than before, sounds like it's stuck in defrost...

the artex are not that thick, its only around 3mm.

Hi, i have a painted artex wall that i would like to replace with wallpaper (or maybe just paint). Can I use the dot & dab on plasterboard over the painted artex? Thanks.

thanks kevplumb! its sorted now, wowho. although i didnt hear the rumbling noise, i can hear the bubbles goes away from the boiler in the pipes, and bleed the air out on the rad. maybe if i wait long i will hear rumble... but anyway its all back to working, thanks lot.

thanks kevplumb, i will try this method tomorrow and let u know... i was thinking of debris or sludge got stuck...but the pipes were 28...so i was scratching my head :roll:

So i turn on both HW & CH and set the room stat to min. temp? or just turn on HW only? pull out the thermostat phial out, once starting to rumble, then put it back in. what does this do to the boiler actually? will it harm the boiler?..... i dont want to break it... thanks

pull the stat??? :shock: could u please explain a bit more what u trying do? Do i turn on both HW & CH then pull the stat off !?! Could I just turn on both HW & CH, then turn the stat to min. temp? and wait for the rumble then turn it back on?? what happen if it doesnt rumble...

... there are no other vent on the gravity circuit or cupboard there is only a drain valve near the bolier where it goes into the boiler and to the central heating pump. The system was working fine before i drained it... :(

boiler is "potterton kingfisher II" i have tried running some water out from the radiator, it slowly get warmer & warmer, but after i close the valve it goes back to cold. i also loosen the hot inlet (from boiler) on the cylinder, there are no air and water comes out.

my system is: F&E tank, boiler gravity hot feed to cylinder and 2 radiators in both bathrooms. a central heating pump for all other radiators in the house no motorise valve, no cylinder stat, but only a room stat. I have drained down the system entirely today, but after i refill...

thanks for the reply. So if the CH is ON and there is a voltage read on the room thermostat, but if it still wont "click", then thats mean i need to change the room thermostat right? How about the motorised valve, how do i test to find out if it is faulty? many thanks.
