What prep do I need to do...is a small spalsh back area......around cooker and sink..
Will just a good clean and maybe keying with rough sandpaper give me a good bonding surface?
one trick I have heard of is to tile rows going down the wall and use masking tape to get support from the row above...
I think it was on this forum that I read it in fact....do a search...could be worthwhile.
Alternative would be to use rapidset adhesive.
no longer turns fully and has slowed to a trickle....Im guessng its just a tap replacement job? internal wear and tear seems the most likely cause I hope.
got a loo floor just under 1 sm q.....floor is concrete and is out by 4/5 mm in places.
First what do I use to clean the floor so I can get good adhesion? Is a bit dusty and grimey.
Second - is their a rapid set adhesive that will give me a good thick cover so I can get a good level...
Anyone know any good tutorials outlining what to do by way of repair when you hack off old tiles?
Havent don it in years, but remember it can be a real pain getting it to a state where you can lay new tiles.
