Replacement ballast for a t9 32w (circular tube) kitchen light

It looks like it MAY fit. But whether it is meant to go in there, or whether it will be electrically and mechanically secure, I can't say.

Well, clearly they are made for it, but I'd be very uncomfortable with the idea of using IDC connections for 230V.

The top push down terminals are used in some fittings, but again they are for 1.0 mm solid cable, NOT stranded.
I would be llooking at replacing that wire with high temp 1.0 mm solid lighting cable, last resort would be crimping a solid cable to the existing, but thats last resort if the wires cant be removed.
Is this light worth all the effort.
