how do I replace the battery in my Optima Compact burglar alarm? Is it something my husband could do or do we need an electrician? What battery do we need?
We have frequent power cuts here and each time we have one our external alarm goes off, we can't enter our code because there is no power, and I presume the back up battery is dead. When the power does come back on the internal alarm immediately goes off and then we can enter the code, not always a convenient time, usually 2 or 3 in the morning!
