Hamas use children ;)

Probably learnt it from the mad mullers war with Iraq hand book

Thousands of children were used for mine clearance amongst other tasks

Christ! 4000 women and nearly 8000 kids?

Barbaric.
small numbers in comparison to other conflicts in that part of the world, over a million killed in recent years in nearby state (so probably 650,000 women and children) never noticed you banging on your virtue signalling drum about those? So what is your real problem here, hatred of Jews, or are you just easily led by the far left press?

Does that justify it? In any way ?

I don't think that makes it ok. It doesn't have to be one or the other, Hamas were wrong in what they did but Israel have been even worse.

I never said it did, what I am curious about is why are these deaths causing so much unrest amongst the far left. Nobody seems to care two hoots at the hundreds of thousands being massacred in the likes of Yemen, Syria, Sudan....

I sort of wonder whether many people have just swallowed hook line and sinker the likes of the leftie BBC narrative. You're just being played by what they want you to think. It is worrying to watch

Filly's link says "On May 8, the UN published data showing 34,844 people had reportedly been killed, including 4,959 women and 7,797 children."

Some of them have not been identified.

Apparently 8% of the dead are not classed as men, or women, or children.

Unidentifiable smashed or incinerated remains, perhaps.

I don't suppose that the dead or buried alive crushed under destroyed buildings, or bulldozed by the Israeli army, have been identified.

Yes, the unending slaughter of many thousand, mostly non-combatants, by the Israeli army, by the disease and starvstion that Israel manufactures, and the demolition of Palestine's heritage, is very worrying.

Nothing new, but the world is not quite as tolerant of Israel's crimes this time.

Nope. You've missed the point.

Neither side is right, not following any narrative. Not sure that applies to those that support 1 side, or the other, or try and justify by comparisons. Actually, I am sure.

You mean South Africa, for example?

Perhaps they are interested in racism, apartheid and genocide.

I suppose you are irritated that Israel's actions are not being ignored so much this time.

It’s a war ffs ?

Any one name me a war since World War One we’re atrocities have not taken place or innocents killed

There were even reports / rumours that argentine soldiers were bumped off after they surrendered ???? In the falklands war

What’s kiers starmers view / policy on this genocide claim ??

Do
You know ? ;) Should we vote for him if he is ignoring genocide ???

There are several aspects about the numbers. When hospitals stop working in an area the data gets unreliable. They ar base on people living there. Another came up today. A claim that one data released meant that the dead were 11,000 less than stated. Misreported that the identity of 11,000 is not known. These may even include areas where hospitals aren't recording them. Last I heard from the US sec defence was 25,000 but he can only be guessing.

One comment in a report quoted is garbage. The death rate varies acording to area being attacked and popuation. Take the north. Attacks have reduced the population and lots have fled daily rate goes low. Rafar - piece meal attacks and lower daily death rates than say the initial attack on Gaza city. The current Rafar attack has upped the number but still lower than what they could be. Many moved out. A bit of a boost can be expected in the next few days due to intense activity in 3 areas.

Using this argument is pointless anyway but I am not going to bother mentioning why. Enough info and comments around to answer that question. There is also a lot of rouble around with little chance of clearing some of it. Depends where it is.

A doc running team of 16 medics. Mix US, UK and a few others working in the European hospital for a couple of weeks. They have a safe house just in a safe area after these were set. Bombs going off within 500yds but also some adjacent in the opposite area that should be safe. Decide to move and stay in the Hospital. Next thing they know is that the safe areas near the house are gone - after some bombing. They all took suitcases full of medical stuff, If they hadn't it would have been tricky to do a lot of the work they have done. Also staff levels noww low. Some lived in the areas in Rafar are being bombed so have evac'd. The doc's are wondering if they can get out. Crossings closed. Another team pure UK did as they were due to leave on the day Rafar was attacked from the east to take the Rafar crossing.

650,000 where? Anyway time frame figure also maybe the presence of Kurds. Who knows how many of those were killed. Not US or UK body bags so of little interest or in the fighting methods.
