    downlight that doesn't work

    One of my downlighters in the kitchen doesn't work. Changed bulb, but still refuses to work. I suspect the transformer has blown. Is there anyway i can check this out ? Also, in bathroom, a downlighter comes on intermittantly and if it does, it fades out. Any ideas please ?
