Is the attached garage of a dwelling within the equipotential zone? The garage holds the boiler and associated pipework. Obviously the boiler will require a supply. But i was wondering if a 10mm earth is required out to the pipework?
thanks
Checking a house and found
1. Immersion wired in 1.5 mm and protected by a 15A rewireable.
2. Double socket spurred off a cooker switch in the kitchen.
Has anyone any solutions?
Does the immersion need rewired or a smaller fuse installed and is this likely to trip?
thanks as always.

Isolator or switched-fuse?
Should there be an isolator of a switched fuse between the REC incomer and a cu? I have heard conflicting advice on this. In fact, it was suggested that nothing is needed in between. The run is approx 16 metres.

A portable building has a 3 way board controlled via 63a 100mma trip. This is fed via a messy three phase tns system. The protable building has lights, sockets & heater circuits.

Surely the board...
Ive seen architects drawings that indicate a minimum clearance between the bottom of a bathroom door and the FFL.
I appreciate this will vary for different size bathrooms and their ventilation requirements, but is there a 'rule of thumb' or guidelines available?
thanks
Fitted a fan into a bathroom with a 'power shower', which produces a hell of a lot of steam.
The bathroom is approx 10 feet X 6 feet X 7 feet. The fan was a Manrose 4 inch inline fan with timer.
Some observations:
the fan does not adequately extract the steam.
there is an obvious...
