If I notify the council how much is this small job likely to cost me? What does it involve? Would it need to be tested and who would do it? Thanks

    Flickering lights

I have fiited 12 x 35W spots in my kitchen (420W) which are controlled from a touch type dimmer switch rated to 500W. They are fine when on 100%, but as soon as they are dimmed to anything less they flicker. They are 240V. Any suggestions would be appreciated Cheers
