the reason i am not keen on sandblasting is due to having to submit more reports to planning, just wonder if anything else would work?

we have a large cast iron glass house which we are restoring, is sandblasting the frame the best or is there something else i could use? cheers

next door is having there roof redone, its a 1920s house with asbestos roof tiles that look like slate,should the contractors just be throwing them off the roof into a normal skip? cheers

now most builders have a bad rep-my next door neighbors have had a new concrete drive laid today but the weather has changed-they have covered the drive and have heaters going but he is still here at 2.30 am and is staying all night-so they are not all bad :wink:

they have to go to court first so cant force anything and they cannot sell your property but when you come to sell will recover the debt just pay £1 a month and they wont even get a CCJ :wink:

at work we pay £10p/h or £100p/d and if they dont like it theirs plenty of people queuing up that will :twisted: :wink:

last years electric was £90, no gas aiming for less this year :wink:

a cheaper way which i did over 5 years ago was to put scaffold poles in and then put tyres over the poles offset- then back fill the gravel only an idea :wink:

would it come under part P if off grid?

cables to distro points is run along fence in cable trays :wink: the sparks where surprized we fitted them as they normally run the cables on the floor cheers

thanks that makes more sense will look into why the sparks said PAT test so setup Inspection and test and remove after the 12 weeks? cheers

we ran a smaller system this year off a genny,it confirms with all regs ,it is used at 1000s of events per year with no problem http://www.rubberbox.co.uk/on-the-shelf/index.php the site is only used 12 weekends per year and has to be removed after rallys the only difference for next...

they are quiet happy with the temp. supply and as it is a pre-made system only PAT will be required cheers
