    Drainage pipework advise

Hi Right having spent the afternoon trying to dig it out (have only got a little hole at the front) i have reached the soil/sand underneath. There is a metal wire going through the concrete at approx 70mm down (see image below). How can i cut that without special tools? I also have the wall...

    Drainage pipework advise

The concrete floor that you can see has got to come up about 70mm but will be done with a framework and ply on top so hopefully pipes will run underneath somehow. If not then i will need to channel out around 2 1/2 metres each way for shower/sink and bath. What sort of drop will i need?

    Drainage pipework advise

    Drainage pipework advise

Hi Thanks for the replies. I think the soil manifold is the way to go. As for foresight i don't do anything without over thinking it first and is why i post on here. Unfortunately it was there when i brought the place. Cheers

Hi I have a pipe (see image below) that i need to run a toilet, bath, shower and sink into. The toilet will sit just to the right of this pipe and i think it will just come out of the toilet, turn left and then drop down the top so to speak. The sink and shower will also come from the...

Need to finish floor - How?

Hi Ok thats fine. Going back to the sleeper joists around the perimeter i understand them but do the other 400mm sleeper joists have to sit on top of the these or just inside those, as if they have to sit on top i don't think there will be enough depth for it all. Can i use the DPM and...

    New doorway

Hi Thanks to both of you for the replies. noseall - This may seem silly but you state that the lintel is set at 82", what do i do with the other 5" that i would have under that height? ie: my other inside doors have a height of 77", obviously i will have the door kit in there as well but...

    New doorway

Hi I am just about to create a new doorway through an existing window. This window goes through an old outside wall that now goes into a new extention. Will the inside wall already have a lintel in place? The outside looks like it hasn't and has just got the pretty row of on end bricks...
