I am not an electrician, but as I have no timer for my gas central heating boiler, I sometimes use one of those cheap plug in timers which you plug into the mains, and plug in the device to the timer. Only a few euros,, you pull the pins for off and on.

What will you use to make it slide then? and avoid friction of wood on wood. Candle grease, ball-bearings.Castors? Will be interested to know how it works out. Good luck.

I recently bought a wardrobe sliding door kit with top and bottom tracks. You can get them cheaply. The top track is deeper than the bottom one so you can lift door up into it and drop it down to rest on bottom one. The doors have small plastic or nylon bits on them to slide along the tracks...

:D Thans a lot Rocks1, had a look. I have also found another thing at the top of the rear inside machine, its about the same size as capacitor 16uF but maybe aluminium and on it, it says 0,47 uF. Had to take the lid off to ID it, but don't think it can be the one since the other says 16uF...

It would be £34.44 from espares which sounds a lot even though the man sounds very helpful and friendly. I will probably have to look at the cheaper varieties being on a tight budget. If I get it and install it, let's hope it does the job. If not, I will come back and ask for a bit more...
