Varnish over emulsion paint on facings/frames to match walls

I've used Dulux Trade Brilliant white (vinyl for bath/kitchen and 'normal' for the rest) on my walls. The eggshell paint I've used is Ronseal Brilliant White Eggshell for the prepped/undercoated woodwork but yet the two shades of white between the walls and the wood are different, with the...

Well 2-4 degrees out of 90 more like  Wish I had access to a decent camera. Put it this way my brother and father never even noticed but my girlfriend and her friend clocked it straight away (they saw it 1st). Not being fussy really about the windows - did not want the fake wood...

    Mishapen UPVC windows

I hired a joiner to fit 7 UPVC large Tilt and turn windows in my flat with a dividing transom in each. Building small concrete block wall on top of paving slabs?

I'm wanting to put in a small beer garden to my pub. The proposed area is currently laid with 600x600x50mm concrete paving slabs on sand and a rock base. I'd like to build a small 600mm high concrete block wall on top of the paving slabs (with no foundations) to support a timber frame and...
