    Honeywell Reson8 Bellbox Issue

Thanks Bigsosij. So is there no way of disabling the tamper circuit in the bell box then? I'm going to get up and have a look at the bell box at the weekend but in the meantime if the alarm keeps going off randomly I was hoping I could disable the tamper circuit on the bell box at the main...

    Honeywell Reson8 Bellbox Issue

Thanks Sparkymarka, will have a good look at the weekend and check the tampers.. In the meantime if I wanted to bypass the tamper to the bell box, given the above diagram what would I need to do? Do I need to remove the the tamper return and put a link between the T and A at the main panel?

    Honeywell Reson8 Bellbox Issue

    Radiators

Probably a stupid question but if I don't ask i'll never learn. Why are there two valves on each of my radiators? I assume the left one is to turn off and on the hot water supply to the radiator but what does the other one do? Thanks in advance.

Installing a Wall Mounted Electric Fire

Wasn't sure what you meant by safe zones at first but found a useful post here on the forum which explained it all. Original plan would have been to run the flex diagnonally down from fire to FCU in oval conduit but as that is not allowed the alternative plan is to add an FCU down below the...

Installing a Wall Mounted Electric Fire

Wall Mounted Electric Fires look really great in the showrooms until you get them home mount them on the wall then realise you have an ugly power cable on show. My plan was to convert the single socket nearby to a fused connection unit and drill a hole in the wall were the electrical flex...

Query about checking for a switched live

Was this method of testing okay or is there a better way? I'm going to get myself a multimeter first thing next week in case I need to do something similar in the future.

Query about checking for a switched live

Hi Wife bought a new light for the porch and pestered me to fit it this evening. It should have been a five minute job to be honest as all I needed to do was switch off the electricity, mark the wires, remove the ceiling rose and put up the new light. I quickly identified the switched...
