Just installed a TRV, to one radiator all others have standard valves. This radiatir is now cold the others are hot. Are TRV's direction dependant. Fitted it the only way I thought it could go, i.e. screwthread to radiator and compresion joint to pipe. No flow, therefore heat, on any setting...

The existing socket has only one feed so making this a part of the ring main may be difficult? Another thought is that I have a spare slot for a MCB in the dist. unit can I use this to provide a seperate radial feed to this socket, and then feed on from there. I want to provide power to three...

I will soon need to replace a slot-in gas cooker with a seperate gas hob and gas oven (new kitchen project!). The gas outlet (supply) complete with a bayonet hose is present. Do splitters exist to provide 2 supplies - one to the hob and one to the oven? If not, how do you suggest I proceed, I am...
