it's not so much watching the old movies..which i can do..i would like to be able to download them for my i-pod.

Being an Oldie has it's advantages....like...common sense...which there seems to be a lack of nowadays...or have they renamed it ..lateral thinking ????..Been 'playing' with computers now for26 years or so and still struggle at times..mmmm.

Feed comes in via wall socket..connects to my Sky + HD Box..then via HDMI lead to TV. My son-in-law gave me his fathers old Sky digibox and when i tried this the sound nearly blew me away,so fault is obviously with Sky + HD Box..although i have read that sound problems with these boxes are...

Being an OAP I like to watch the old movies..and..Retrovision TV have enough to keep me going until I shuffle off. It is a legal site and you can download the movies for your i-pod etc..however it doesn't tell what program/softwaee to use..any ideas anyone ?

All are Senior Citizens..most are on Freeview..except 2 who seem to be having the same problem.

Moved into a new flat where satellite dishes are not allowed...so Sky is 'piped' in....the problem is,to get any decent sound i have to put the volume on my TV to full volume...yes...full volume...on freeview there is no problem..full volume on tv would blow your head off...Sky say nothing wrong...

Heater blower was only working on No.4 setting...so i removed the resistor to examine it and re-solder if need be...whilst resistor was on workbench..i had to pop down the shops on a cold miserable wet night..and as a matter of habit when you get misted up..i switched the heater on to No.4...

I purchased a 51 plate Nissan Micra in January and at the weekend had a puncture..so used the spare ..here lies the story...all 4 tyres are 165x65x14..the spare was 165x60x14...the recommended size for this model is 165x60x14...question..is it o.k. to use 165x65x14 size or will i have to go by...
