No darling i won't has quoted me £16k for a combi boiler installation for me heating and a tank for hot water to serve 5 showers plus the plumbing, labour.... is that the going rate ? I trusted him as he seemed nice but i find now that £16K is rip off ???

He hasn't specified a combi for 5 shower !!! Have you read my thread properly ??? Its a combi boiler to HEAT a 5 bed house NOT FOR HOT WATER

Thank you namsag. I thought it was weird.... this suggestion came from a so called heating and plumbing engeneer. The majority of them just want to rip me off !!! I can't find anyone to quote less than 12K for the job
