ok so does it matter what terminal what will it say on there for the red and yellow to go in

in the pic it looks like one red goes into one terminal and it looks like a red and a yellow in the other terminal does that sound right (what is yellow) what will it say on the new switch where the wires go so for example red and the yellow go in ? and the red on its own goes in ?

The reason im asking is because what he wants me to do is try and take out the bottom row of blocks about 6 of them he said then put dpc down well obviously i dont want to do that incase the blocks above fall down which know doubt they probaby will. What about sealing it and if so what sealer...

i thought with trickle vents it was if replacing it was like for like and in new build you had to have them
