Hi everyone I have bought a Worcester Greenstar 30CDi Classic System Boiler, but have not yet bought the programmer. In my last house we had a Honeywell CMT927 and it worked very well indeed, and was so easy to understand. Do you know whether this unit will work with the WB 30CDi? I see it...

Mounting Consumer Unit outside within enclosure

Thanks guys. I want to relocate the DB outside primarily for reasons of logistics/works programme. Current position is where a doorway will be cut so def has to move - garage will become part of a new kitchen diner. With so much going on and the kitchen/diner design far from being fixed...

Mounting Consumer Unit outside within enclosure

It doesn't bother me. Previous property had the DB in the garage which also meant venturing outside. In the 18 years I lived there I could count on one hand the number of times the breakers tripped. In this new property it's more hassle the DB staying inside to be honest. Cheers

Very thin oak flooring needed to clad stairs. Does it exist?

Hi I would like to clad a wooden staircase with real oak. Ideally I would like to use a 6 or 7mm board (which I imagine at this thickness will be all wood and no ply). I don't want to use the thicker boards (i.e. 15-20mm). I was planning to fix the oak layer with proper Sika adhesive...

Hi The staircase to my work in progress loft conversion is as follows: 4 steps, then 90deg winder box comprising 3 steps, then final 5 steps. I would like to fit 2 sections of handrail rather than 1 long continuous length of handrail. Is this permitted by building regs? I have looked on...

Size of Mosaic tiles for wetroom wetdec/underlay

Hi I am planning to fit a 1700mm x 700mm wetdec/underlay and need some advice re. the tiling on top please. I am thinking about using mosaics rather than the large floor tiles (45x45cm) which are being used elsewhere in the room. This is so I don't have issues cutting the floor tiles to size...
