    Cable in meter tails

    I went to a job today to wire in 10mm shower cable to a CU..somebody already wired from shower down to CU.. As their was no free fuseways on old wylex rewirable, somebody wired the old 6mm cable into the two meter tails on CU...has anybody come across this before...?? I ended up fitting...

    cooker/ignition switch

    An extractor fan and cooker ignition switch should be run on (1.0 1.5mm) from a switched (3 to 5amp) FCU, preferably from a 2.5mm supply. would anybody come off the cooker switch 6mm for the FCU??
