    some of the old render/ come off with the old tiles & left lots holes showing brick work so i think the plasterer will have to make good & skim, the old rendered wall which is what we are talking about is 2 meters wide & was tiled all over before i removed them, so 900 of of the wall (shower )...

    i am doing my shower 900 x 1200, the 1200 side is MR Board & the 900 side is going to be skimmed how long do i waite before i can tank the skim coat & dose the tanking primer seal it or do i need to seal it & with what, the tiles are 600 x 300 porcelain thanks

    thanks for the info RC, the problem i have is that one wall will be stud & the other is old brick that old tiles on it that was put in the old way onto wet cement & i have hacked them off fewwwwwwwwwwwww was that hard & it was only half way up, the same wall the short side of the shower (900)...

    come on guys settle down :) so if i use moister board & tank that it will be ok, & do i tape & fill the gaps between the boards & will it tkae 600x 300 porceline tiles & do the tiles need to be sealed They are matt finnish thanks guys both your help is much appritiated
