    Hi, thanks for all the replies! Right... the "slates" do appear to be somehow adhered TO the wall but, bizarely, only on TOP of a layer of plaster. The plaster has been tested and does not contain any asbestos. The "slates" don't really look like the patio tiles in the gallery above. If...
