    Ive ran out of PVA bond but have 2 litres of SBR bond left from a wall i built. Will SBR be ok for browning off the wall and more sbr for multifinish plaster or should i go buy some more PVA?

    Thanks all, I was advised by a builder friend to use some adhesive called "Sticks Like Sh*t" by Evo Stick. I used this on the back of the box to stick to inside of the wall the squeezed motor around the edge to repoint the box in. Took 24 hours to dry but i can stand on the box and no movement...

    you can get air brick and get ducts seporatly.... for example you can get what are called perascopes that direct air from the air brick under the main floor joist.

    My gas meter box was damaged i have to replace it. I have had the gas disconnected and the gas meter removed, the old box has been removed and i now have the hole in the wall. New box fit snug but with a pull it comes out.... so needs securing in place. How can i secure this in place...

    Stopping Penetrating Damp

    if you can inside the house take the walls back to brick, the tank the inside with tanking solution. I used FEBTANK in my house, you mix like plaster to think cream consistency then paint onto the walls. 2 coats are required minimum, and allow 24 hours between coats, and paint in right angles...
