I am so impressed by this site not sure why I have never found it before. Thank you for that last piece of info - I actually have a vague understanding of what you mean having just read up on motorised valves but will get my electrician friend to have a look for me and show him these feeds. :)

Thank you for a very quick reply - is this something I can check myself? I am not sure where I would find the motorised valve. I am quite good at solving problems and if its something fairly straight forward I would be very grateful for some advice :)
