Zone valve wiring into existing CH system

As it happens I have two two port valves so an s plan would work for me but I am unsure as the best way to wire it. Currently there is a combi boiler and manual room stat. Now I have fitted a ufh manifold, it has voltage free contacts. Can you knock me up a simple diagram on how you would...

Zone valve wiring into existing CH system

If the room stat calls for heat the zone valve would open, the rads have no trvs so there will be no issues. I think u are thinking the ufh thermostatic valve is like one on a radiator? It isn't it is incorporated in the ufh manifold, it has no influence on the radiators. Steve

Zone valve wiring into existing CH system

The CH stat has two poles so I can emulate a hot water stat. I thought three port valve return to HW off without power? Anyway, I do actualy have two two port valves but have never done an s plan. Do I need a bypass in the system though with s plan? Originally I had in mind a simple...

Zone valve wiring into existing CH system

There is no hot water cyclinder, so surely a y plan set up as if the ch stat was the HW stat and the ufh call set up as if it were the CH stat would do the job? Steve

Zone valve wiring into existing CH system

Hi chaps, I am building an extension for the outlaws it will have underfloor heating. I want to link it to the existing CH system by linking into the main feeds and fitting a zone valve to the CH supply so the rads don't heat up when the ufh is calling for heat. The ufh will call for heat and...

Profile identification- Carrington Windows of Derby

I wouldn't have thought themed be choping and changing from profile to another will they? I thought the had different tooling for each profile? Looking at duraflex, I'm not sure the sealing bead is the same, the ones on these windows look more like synseal synergy. It is defo a...

    Concrete roof tiles

Thanks chap, yeah, can't see why they have to be painted...the concrete surface now exposed is smooth so moss can't get as good a grip and water is unlikely to get into cracks and cause spalling. Just hope the outlaws like the look...... Steve

    Concrete roof tiles

I am building an extension for the outlaws and decided to jet wash the roof tiles on the existing building to rid it of moss and restore its original colour.... However! I ended up removing the sandy surface too and exposing the bare concrete of the tile. I think it looks fine, but the...

New flat roof- joist hangers direct to walls?

Hi all, building an extension for the outlaws, never done a flat roof before. Architect had one side of the lists hung off joist hangers and the other side let in to the double leaf outer wall. I was wondering if I could joist hangers both sides, so after a convo with the shed, and a convo...
