When I turn on the hot water tap my C+M combiit makes a noise that can only be described as "a screeching firework", doesn`t make the noise when the c/heatings on. Any ideas on what the problem might be. Many thanks

In desperate need of advice here peeps, some kind joker keeps on using the above product in the locks on the roller shutter doors. Does anybody know if there`s anything readily available that dissolves this product or not. Thought about an electric roller shutter but the thing is the powers...

I put my own liner and fittings etc in myself and all for 200 quid. I used 6inch (8 maybe 9 mitres) of twin lined from a supplier in Manchester. Don`t know if I can say who the company is but if anybody replies sayin that it is then i`ll stick their name and address on.

Just wondered if there`s any type of product available that you can paint over the "run of the mill" floor tile.Don`t really at this stage of a refurd to start re-tiling the kitchen floor and thought this might have been a quick fix. Many thanks

Its a worcester Greenstar 40CDi, and the flow rate at the mo is about 10L per min.

Just a quick qusetion, have some 15mm fitted to my hot and cold feed to the bath/shower and was wondering if they can slow down the rate at which the water flows, only reason I ask is because it seems to take forever to fill the bath. Combi boiler puts out about 17L per min and i`m getting...

I`ve laid some natural slate tiles and was wondering whats the best thing to us on them to give them a deep gloss effect. (Doesn`t matter if they`re slippy because i`ve laid them inside of the fireplace to stand the woodburner on)

What could be causing this Kev?, only had the full system (combi) for about 5 months or so.

Ehenever I run the hot taps the water seems to be a milky colour, I know its not that important cause i`ll not be drinking it, but i`m curious whats causing this. Also the water flow (only from the hot) seems irratic. Many thanks

Think the only reason they didn`t indicate is because they didn`t pay the extra £300 as i`m under the impression they don`t come fitted "as standard" on this particular vehicle manufacturer :wink:

Why don`t you use 4" polystyrene and let it rest on battens nailed on to the joist
