    Noseall, just clicked on one of the pics, so masonry bees? There's conflicting info regarding the damage that they can afflict on property, I wouldn't kill them. Just block up holes I suppose. Thanks again.

    Must be small aliens, not bat poo and thanks for the sand bee suggestion. I will post pics which will give an idea of the size of these "alien" pods. thanks again

    Thanks for the responses, I'll take some close ups JohnD. JBR, I don't think they're droppings, they're very light weight due to being hollow, looks like something has crawled out of each one.
