Ended up having to change the backplate because they are slightly different. Works fine. I’ll be connecting the Opentherm when I obtain some suitable 2 core shielded cable. Wiser TRVs will be added over time.

Because I am the one who said it. I used to use 2 pole testers fault finding on electrical appliances in my former trade.

OP used to use a two pole tester regularly in a previous job.
