Can anyone tell me why rest bends are sold with an angle if 87.5 degrees, im puzzled as surely they need to be 92.5 or it mucks up the fall? Tvanks JB

My reason for asking is that the bend fittings are all either 135 or 90 degree angles. Why arent there any 137 or 92 degree ones to take the drop in to account? Do you have to rely on the pipe bending? John

Im looking at fitting stainless flexi hoses to a new bath im installing but have noticed the internal diameter is half the 15mm of the copper pipe. In reality does this affect the flow as much as it looks like it will? John

On 40mm bath waste pipe does the drop have to be constant along its length or, can you have horizontal, 45 degree drop, horizontal? Id like to have the pipe come out of the S bend horizontal for 300mm then drop at 45 degrees to go under the floor, then back to horizontal for 2m and out...

What are the regulations on a rewire with regard to clipping cables to joists? Ive heard/read that 2.5 needs supporting every couple of feet or so, but without lifting a heap of floorboards hows it done? Is it acceptable to have them just resting on the floor/ceiling? Regards JB

Im renovating a mid terrace house and am drywalling the exterior walls using 50mm polystyrene and studs. Ive spent a very very confusing weekend trying to decide on where to fit (or IF to fit) a vapour barrier. Some say vapour barrier against the brick the the studs, others say ooo no bad idea...

The difference in the current concrete floor is up to 50mm difference, just figured it'd make getting the frame nice and level easier then masses of different sized shims - or is there another way?
