Im looking at fitting stainless flexi hoses to a new bath im installing but have noticed the internal diameter is half the 15mm of the copper pipe. In reality does this affect the flow as much as it looks like it will?
If you have gravity fed supplies to bath taps, then flexis will reduce the flow. Combi or unvented cyl shouldn't be a problem. Some large bore bath tap flexis are available, but will never give the flow of 22mm pipe.
If you need flexibility and large bore, you could use a length of plastic 22mm pipe (eg. Speedfit - available by the metre on Ebay) and 22mm x 3/4" Speedfit tap connectors. Don't forget the correct support inserts for either end of the plastic pipe.
