Put a picture up, scrap is done on weight as someone said but I make gates rails balconys etc for Living so if it's chunky material it'll be worth something. Maybe even advertise the whole lot on gumtree?

There's nothing garbage with what I said, I havnt tried to use resin with thunder bolts, I would also use resin bolts or threaded rod aswel because you can tighten then up with the nut. You maybe use it for something totally different than me tho but not here to argue was only there to...

I'm not sure if it would work but when we have to join big beams we have chunky steel plates either side of the beam and usually m20 bolts but with wood if imagine you could get away with 4 m12's with steel plates either side?

I wouldn't use a thunder bolt with resin, I would drill hole, stick in a bolt/threaded rod, wait till the resin goes off and stick on a nut and washer, Sticking a thunder bolt into wet resin won't do nothing.

A bit brute force and they'll be off. If you do heat remember about the cv boot not to burn it. Never had to heat bolts once for callipers.

Half inch bar would take it off no problem.
