It wasn't easy to work as, with the power off and no battery installed, the external alarm was going off. So I called in a pro in the end. All good now. Thanks a lot for your response - appreciated.

Heeeeelp! We have an alarm system with a TS690 panel. We haven't armed it since we moved in many years ago. But yesterday the system was reset. The panel is showing a "Phone line fault" and we're hearing a loud beep every minute or so. :-( Is there a way to disable this beep - or...
