    Thing is most installers don't like this approach because they can usually make 10% on the boiler and charge silly money for the work... So back to my questions; Is it legel to hang the boiler and do all but the gas pipework? Are these online supply websites any good?

    Think I'm convinced about the ATAG.. I think some of your comments about Vaillant are a bit extreme, I have a Vaillant installed in another property, apart from a few issues (faulty pressure sensor, and leaking hoses, which stopped leaking after I fixed the pressure switch) it's been bullet...

    So... ATAG or Vaillant??? both will keep my house warm, both have similar flow rates... but are the DHW efficiency ratings of the ATAG as good as they claim?
