Is there any benefit to balancing your three phases, with regards to the bill ?? I thought that it would be in your interests (as a business) to balance you three phases, as you would be charged at the highest phase rate ?!?

I am talking more of specialising in Lutron Systems. Ranging from Graphic Eye to Homeworks Systems.

Does anyone know if Electricians charge more for installing Lutron, be it First or second fix ?

An Electrician. Just not overally familiar with Contactors I was thinking I could use a MSU Pushbutton Control Unit, but was unsure if this would work in a ring !? Or if every socket would need to be on its own Radial Supply, thus merely an ingoing supply.

I need to wire a "metal work" section of a garage. On a Ring, the mechanic would like to have Emergency Stop buttons above every socket outlet. Thus if any Power tool is being used, they can cut the power. What is the best way of doing this ??

Can anyone shed some light on what scale of electrciaian should charge what amount as an hourly/daily - if that makes sense ?? eg: Some bod with 18months experience (including domestic, commercial testing etc), and passed C&G 2330. All the way to top man, Part P accredited with NIC etc ??

I have had to perform a soak away "test" in my garden, by digging a hole, filling it with water, and timing it. The results were... slow. Does anyone know what the times should be ?? I live in Sussex, on clay.
