    underfloor insulation

Yep, don't worry, I have read plenty of those threads and came to the conclusion that 'yes, that's probably fine'. Just sometimes- it can only take one little concern from someone posting, to have my doubts grow. I'm so inexperienced with DIY jobs that I'm never sure if my specific...

    underfloor insulation

Hello, I have a wooden floor on the ground floor of my house. I wanted to ask advice on installing underfloor insulation. There's a hatch to get under the floor and about 2-3 feet of space to crawl around in. Would pinning up normal rock-wool loft insulation be a good idea...

    Bath Bother

So I've siliconed right over the bottom edge of the showerguard base. And I thought that had solved it, but this morning, the wall was still getting saturated. Then I had a really close look at the bottom rubber strip that meets the tub. And noticed that instead of being a sensible solid...

I think it happens when you have 1 finger on the screw of the casing and flick the switch at the same time. What might be...

    basic rawl plug question

Yep, good tip, I just made a bed a few days ago and a lot of the supplied screw's heads got stripped or broke off. I've ordered some decent rawlplugs, so will wait for those to arrive. Thanks again.

    basic rawl plug question

When I start to screw into the plug (when it's flush with the wall) it turns and doesn't grip. That's why I'm wondering if it'd work if I pushed the plug into the end of the hole?

    basic rawl plug question

I'm trying to attach a guitar wall mount. It came with rawl plugs (white) and some screws (1/3 longer than the plugs) On the rawl plugs there's a '6' so I presumed that meant they were 6mm. I drilled 3 holes the length of the screws with a 6mm bit. Only then did I notice that the rawlplugs...
