hello! I've just moved into a house and discovered that the bath is leaking around the sealant. So I removed it and tried to lay down some new stuff neatly with masking tape. But I wasn't fast enough around the awkward parts of the bath and the silicone set before I pulled the tape off! haha...

When I start to screw into the plug (when it's flush with the wall) it turns and doesn't grip. That's why I'm wondering if it'd work if I pushed the plug into the end of the hole?
