Should i be using the live from the pump instead of the thermostat to call for heat on ? or doese the signal come from the thermostat ?

i connected the live from the white thermostat cable and the boiler powers on but i cannot shut it off via the heatlink switch its on all the time

Hi i am having problems with wiring my nest heatlink into my boiler need some help please.....my old thermostat has been removed so i need to connect this at the boiler end i have two 3 core cables going into my boiler one to the thermostat and one into the pump but i'm not sure which wire to...

Too late now i already have the firebird argggggg.......sounds like this is gonna be hassle i assume i'll need a y plan from what i've read on line......what is the benefit of converting to a fully pumped system assuming mine isn't.......the old boiler controller had funtion for CH and HW...

Not sure if this is a semi gravity system or a fully pumped system this is the only pump i could see.......

Yes the boiler is used about 2 years old........sadly boiler fitters round my area take the pee pricewise and leading to folk attempting to do things ourselves.....with a little help from on here i've no doubt i can acomplish this,i'm not gonna spend thousands just to satisfy building control...

Hi yes i have a hot water tank looks like a gravity fed system i have a tank in the loft an another smaller one in the loft for the heating,my old boiler is about 20 years old but the timer had funtions for hot water and heating seperate.......hope i didn't buy the wrong boiler lol

Hi folks im looking to wire a hive thermostat into my existing firebird condensing oil boiler i'm having trouble figuring out where the HC/AND NO hot water on/off Boiler on off wires connect to my Firebird boiler as there does not seem to be any connections for this....any help would be great.......
