Fitting wood burning back boiler and 3 rads to workshop?

Hence me asking. I trained as a plumber three years ago but was then offered a job in the electric industry which I took up so I never had much plumbing experience in systems etc. I know that there is good reason for asking these questions, hence me posting here, I would not fit anything...

Fitting wood burning back boiler and 3 rads to workshop?

Hi all, I have been asked to fit a woodburning back burner to a friends workshop and garage. He wants the burner in one room with one radiator and two radiators in another room. Can someone tell me which components will be needed for this install? I would like to know: Is it best to use...

As seen in the Sun newspaper this morning, if you don't want to so Ronaldo get the Gillette Best Young Player Award, then follow the link and vote for Rooney to try and beat him! http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/w/bypa/eligible.html

Can't wait to get out of this office job!

Yes, council employees have always been underpaid, especially so in Cambridgeshire. I'm trying to get a few private jobs through people I know for a starter so I can get a bit more hands on experience, and when I've got the confidence I will advertise locally for some other work, it's a whole...

    Rip off Plumb Centre!

Yea I went onto Screwfix's website when I got back from Plumb Centre at lunch. It's really easy to use and a lot cheaper, I just thought it would be good to go to Plumb Centre and have a look around as I've never been there before... how wrong I was. Definitely using Screwfix in the future!

    Rip off Plumb Centre!

I'm too late now anyway, in a way it's my own fault for not getting the parts I need sooner as I'm doing the job on Saturday. Has anyone bought those bulk bags of end fittings that are going on Ebay? Just wondered if they're any good?

    Rip off Plumb Centre!

I can't believe I paid that much money for all those bits, everything was behind the counter and just put in the bag as I asked for it so I couldn't see what the prices were like until I got the total. It takes something like this to realise how much you can waste your money! I've learnt my...

    Rip off Plumb Centre!

I am very new to all this, still being at college etc and I guess that's just a lesson learnt. I just thought that Plumb Centre would be quite competitive, guess I was wrong! So do you plumbers buy most of your parts from places like ScrewFix?
