    six of my resistors are coming in at about 4.69K ohms and the other two at 0.992 each approx. I measured them with a meter.

    Thanks for your reply breezer. how exactly does this tamper system work? It sounds like a better system than a global tamper for fault finding at least. The panel actually came out of another building so I dont have the manual and cant seem to get hold of one. I have the user and engineer codes...

    so i wire one of the wires from the door contact to the first terminal (zone 1) and the second wire to the terminal shared between zone 1 and zone 2. Am I right? If i am it dosn't seem to be working. Thanks for the reply
