I realise the com link cables are removed but it's the wiring that comes off them and goes into the wall I'm not sure about

Hi I am thinking of changing my st699 controller to a hive or similar system, most of the wiring seems fairly straightforward but there are wires running to the 5 and 8 com terminals what should be done with these?just run them to the live or do they need to go elsewhere? Thanks
