    heating in conservatory

Just finished my own conservatory (Wickes hardwood - bit of a nightmare but cheap). Decided to extend the central heating with a double panel convector radiator in the conservatory. Thought about the 400w. panel heaters as additional heating but went off the idea as not being worth the trouble...

    Insulating my loft

Hi Graham, Just to follow on from the good advice already given, you may need to think about how you will fix boarding over the extra insulation. However, if you need to walk on them to store things in the loft space you can spread the load by fitting tongue and groove boarding available from B&Q etc. screw down to joists to avoid damage to ceiling plaster. If you still need to...

Heaters cooler at the bottom half

I had a similar problem. The difference between temperature of top and bottom on a couple rads was quite big so was advised to fit a new central heating pump which worked great and solved the problem. If you have added radiators you can fit a slightly larger capacity pump Grundfos 50/60 or similar.

Hi all, I think I need to fit a twin shower pump to a new shower room I am forming in an on-suite off a bedroom - the shower will be a full body type with three of four heads. The hot water cylinder and cold water tank above it are in a cupboard in another bedroom hence there is poor hot water...
