yep, thats the kiddy. however a piece of the bit it attaches to has snapped off. the knob itself looks fine.

Just put a load in my zanussi fls 1185qw, pulled out the programme dial and it snapped off in my hand. washers working fine. I can still use it if i wedge a screwdriver behind remaining piece of plastic. Is it easy to fix? thx.

doh! just spoke to sparky i got it wrong. there is an earth on switch, problem is its not connected to anything at otherside. As for rewire sparky says not needed, wiring passed all tests.

i want to put 4 halogen downlights in my bathroom. 2 of these will be over the bath/shower mixer. do i need a special type of downlight because of the excessive moisture/steam above the shower or just basic downlights?

Is it necessary to tile all around your bath or can you just tile the taps end and side and plaster and paint other end?

Thx to everyone who read and replied. Paint is water based and ive been using natural bristles. I might go down the paint pad route ive got some in the back of the cupboard that ive never used.

ive been painting doors and skirtings with b&q rich satin everywhere paint only problem is the visible brushstrokes. now i have a large built in cupboard to paint and brushstrokes will be really obvious. what gives the best finish on wood

Whats the difference between acrylic and decorators caulk? Also whats the best for sealing doorframes/skirtings?
