I want to make a plinth from 15mm mdf... I was advised to countersink the MDF and screw the pieces together... Can I screw directly into the 15mm edge if I use narrow screws, will this split the MDF? Or should I use 1"x1" to fix the pieces together on the inside? Also is it really lazy not to...
