    Freezing pipes to move radiator

    Apologies if this is old topic. Is it possible to freeze pipes to upstairs radiator, insert push fit inline valves to isolate the system and then move radiator to different wall. I have a combi boiler system, and can't find the system drain valve.

    noisy combi boiler

    Thanks for the replies, turns out it was a sticky float within the pump, a good technical tap and a refill seems to have sorted it out, it is still a little noisy so maybe the fact it ran dry may of damaged the bearings, i'll keep an eye on it.

    Thanks for reply, i took the vent plug off to prove it was free to turn but can't prove its running as the fuse blows everytime i turn it on. I know it would be easier just to change the pump but the person i'm doing this for is skint so i'm trying all avenues first so any other ideas are...
