noisy combi boiler

Apologies if this as been posted before. Should my extraction pump from my boiler a worcester bosch 28i make an high pitch squeal when it pumps out the condensed water.

Frankly Dolly, a condence waste pump should not be screaming whilst pumping.

pump bearings might be on ther way out

Agree with clf. Usually just an audible whirring noise.

What make is it?

Thanks for the replies, turns out it was a sticky float within the pump, a good technical tap and a refill seems to have sorted it out, it is still a little noisy so maybe the fact it ran dry may of damaged the bearings, i'll keep an eye on it.
