I tried the tip about switching on the hot water tap, covering the mixer holes, then turning on the cold water to blast an airlock out of the system. This seems to have improved the pressure to the point where it's just about back to normal. BUT I now have a knocking sound in the pipes...

Hi BoxBasher It turns much the same, though always been a little bit stiff. It does sometimes make a squeaking noise it didn't used to. It's tank fed, not combi.
