hi just fitted a new pressure release valve it was a bloody nightmare to tighten up all the way round for outlet pipe to attach ,eventually managed it but now leaking as if I over tightened ? was not leaking until I got to right point, any way to stop pipe constantly dripping ,it gets worse...

thanks guys ,ordered a new board got 1 cheap on ebay 35 £,, there was a slight leak which i have now fixed that seemed to be dripping on to said microswitch, swapped switches for heating side to check if ok ,it is so just board at fault still have hot water when heating is switched on so will...

ok found it m8 pcb board gone totally burnt out at plug to microswitch only?? must been a short somewhere , will try to source a new board , how much would this cost ?

got 2 where should i start ?

hi guys getting hot water from taps when c/h on only? checked changed diagthram, checked diverter pin on microswitch all ok? both pins operating correctly could it be faulty microswitch? any thoughts appreciated ,

sorry i have taken so long getting back with results,,, you take the biscuits :D spot on with your diagnostics i changed diaphragm no change then removed both small pipes found to be blocked cleaned up and now instant hot water again many thanks guys ,,now have a spare diaphragm too :D...

hope this will help some people solve this curse in w/m ariston swd1000uk my drum stopped spinning intermittently so checked brushes bt of life in them but replaced anyways, first 3 washes top notch then drum stopped spinning again zilch so stripped out pcboard seen dry solder on plug...

cheers guys will have a wee look at these possible problems only a fiver for diaphragm so will order new 1 anyway, replaced last one 2 years ago,seem built to last,,,, thanks for help

my dhw takes about a minute of running water before my boiler ignites all working ok heating wise and tap water when working thinking i may require a service ??? in south side of glasgow area..

hi hope you can help, have a teba built in electric oven , lights all come on, fan comes on just no heat, what has gone? and where can i get spare parts/ cheers for all help

grand will do , also the pipework seems to be a very big bit iffy, never noticed before but the c/h outlet from the boiler pipes , should they all be going into thermostat ends of rads, or does it not really matter? i have 4 going into trv ends and 2 going into the outlet ends im thinking that...

mm that might have been an idea :roll: anyways stripped out pipework and yep blocked pipes, all up and running a ok now , whats best to keep sludge at bay? cheers all who helped guys,,

ok will check pipework at rads im thinking blockage myself now, there was loads of sludge i one of the rads upstairs think it may be in pipework? will keep updated cheers guys.

hi weargas checked once system cooled if ch pipe got hot when running hot water tap, nope, all seems ok there , so i take it its not actuator/ divertor then? cheers

actually you could be onto something here im sure i noticed downstairs rads heat up when hot water is running... so do i need new parts or dismantle and clean up ? cheers

bingo= divertor valve stuck? where is divertor valve in vokera 24e cant see it in manual guys?

not sure if called barrier pipe its grey plastic pipe 15mm all over, how would that be unblocked, would not draining the system ie upstairs rads then refilling not discount blockage?
