finally got the pump removed and its totally clear ?? any ideas on what to try next ??

My dishwasher has stopped working and reading other similar threads i have counted the flashes and there are 4 then a pause. I have taken the silver cover inside the bottom of the machine and it is filled with water. When i last used it it made a strange noise, what i can only describe as ice...
