I've had a new garge door fitted. It is a up and over door. At the bottom there is a 10mm gap and whenever it rains really heavily, quite a bit of water gets in. Is there anything I can put at the bottom of the garage door to stop so much water getting in.

Just moved into a new house and the heating doesn't seem to come on unless the hot water is also on. I wonder if the problem may lie with the programmer which is a Honeywell ST699B or is it the 3 port valve? If I need to replace the programmer can anyone recommend one that would do heating...

    Marley Eternit Malvern tiles problems

Has anyone had problems with these tiles? The roofer has put these on our 15pitch roof and about a third of them (100) are chip, cracked or split in two. The Marley rep has come out and said there is no wrong with the tile and passed all quality control, and the breakage are due to excessive...

Cold downstairs radiators, luke warm upstairs. Any ideas??

Initially I thought it was the pump that was working. So I put in a new one, now it seems that the pump is trying to pump but can't. The pump is making a loud humming noise. The radiators upstairs are lukewarm (presumably by gravity-feed rather than by pump), hot water is fine but all the...
