    Product advice - impression making

    I am looking for a product that would coat a plaster-cine model, that I could then carefully cut free, once dry, and leave me with an impression of the plaster-cine model. This might be either a rubber or plastic product. All replies gratefully received. Thanks.

    straight cut through irregular shape?

    How is it possible to cut, using a band-saw, a straight line through an irregular shaped object? I can lay down a parallel fence to help matters, but my object is very irregular. thanks in advance.

    Auger Bit size?

    Silly question I know - but, when an auger bit or a drill of any description is shown as 200mm in size, is that the total length 200mm - or is it only the cutting distance, with an extra distance in addition for chuck holding? making it possibly about 230mm in total? Cheers in advance

    Radiator thermostat not working!

    Hi there A couple of my radiators come on when I only want one particular one on. Turning the thermostat around does nothing. So if the thermostats need replacing is this a job for a plumbing novice? And how do I set about this task? thanks in advance connelsey

    What works best - dust extraction or filtration?

    Is Plaster easy to saw?

    Bathroom light with cord pull switch problem!
